this game seems to have the same problem that was in dead space using the PS2 controller USB adapter; inverted left analog and just FUBAR right analog. maybe this will help someone looking into it.

i've tried looking at the settings to see if theres anything that i can figure out but this thing seems to be beyond me :|

does anyone else have the problem where when you press up and attack at the same time, batman attacks backwards instead, and vice versa? in other words, everything is fine, but when you attack up or down, the controls are inverted..

Not for me. I dropped the required files in the Binaries folder, but no luck with BAA, it behaves the same way regardless of this emu.

Test 2 pad (my Thurstmaster and Logitech Rumble Pad) both works.

I'm using Cordless Rumblepad2, but no luck. Strangely enough, if I drop the dinput8.dll in the folder (with the xinput1_3.dll and x360ce), it almost works, this way only the trigger buttons are missing so far, so I can't throw any batarangs.

i'm having trouble

the left-analog stick's y-axis is reversed.

not only does modifying the xbox360cemu file not affect anything

but DELETING the emulator also doesn't change anything

the game STILL uses the controller, and the menu indicates that it is indeed an xbox360 controller.....what am i doing wrong? for all intents and purposes i have uninstalled the emulator. how is the game still detecting the wrong configuration...or ANY configuration for that matter.

am i installing the files to the wrong directories?

i have it placed in the binaries folder along with the executables. please help

none of the fixes above make any difference whatsoever

Hello there, this is my first post on this forums tongue.gif

I do have a problem with rumble in Arkham Asylum, I can't simply get it to work, my pad is Dual Shock 3 (using it thanks to MotionInJoy) and other than the rumble it works perfect. I tried both regular 3.0 emulator aswell as with vibmod 3.1.0.0 aswell as 3.1.0.4 and it still didn't work :/

CODE
#Motioninjoy DualShock 3 / Generic Rumble Controller
[PAD1]
Index=0                #controller index in system game controllers list; 0 is first; -1 to ignore this pad
Failsafe=0            #failsafe mode (DISCL_BACKGROUND) use only for games like Bionic Commando
Left Analog X=1            #axis index; use - to invert; precede with 's' for a slider eg; s-1; 7 to disable
Left Analog Y=-2        #axis index; use - to invert; precede with 's' for a slider eg; s-1; 7 to disable
Right Analog X=3        #axis index; use - to invert; precede with 's' for a slider eg; s-1; 7 to disable
Right Analog Y=-6        #axis index; use - to invert; precede with 's' for a slider eg; s-1; 7 to disable
Left Analog X Linear=0        #-100 to +100  raise this number to increase sensitivity near center
Left Analog Y Linear=0        #-100 to +100  raise this number to increase sensitivity near center
Right Analog X Linear=0        #-100 to +100  raise this number to increase sensitivity near center
Right Analog Y Linear=0        #-100 to +100  raise this number to increase sensitivity near center

Left Trigger=7        #button id; precede with 'a' for an axis; 's' for a slider;

SwapMotor=0            #use 0 to 1; default 0
ForcePercent=100        #use 0 to 100; default 100

That's the settings I'm using, any help?

EDIT:
Forgot to add, I'm running Windows 7 x64
Attaching .log file aswell.

You must use dinput8.dll

I can't get the vibmod to fully work, it is missing the trigger inputs so you can't throw batarangs for example.

I'm also having problems with Arkham Asylum (only game I've tested the controller emulator with). I'm using a DS3 with motioninjoy over bluetooth, all appears to be working fine except for the L and R triggers. They are recognised as a4 in the trigger inputs. I've probably get this totally wrong but am I right in assuming I enter h4 for both trigger inputs. This hasn't worked for me, though I'm sure I'm missing something. The closest I have got is a4 and a-4, though as the L and R trigger are recognised as the positive and negative of the x rotation, pressing either effects the other.

Sorry if this has been commented on somewhere else, but could someone please explain to me what I'm doing wrong.

Cheers biggrin.gif

Jim

EDIT: Just to add I've tried vibmod 3.0.0.4 to 3.1.0.0 Beta 3, Running on Windows 7 x64.
