.crk-files - patch description files (used with some old tools like Corner Cracker). i use it for my need.

crk files now removed from archives. use patches in .exe

Thanks. I am really close now. I can now get the game to work with ym Xinputemu and it has the controls assigned to the correct buttons. But I still cant get vibration to work even though it is now selectable within the game and the vibration works in the xinputtest. I will keep working with it.

Thanks for your help.

You mean that the vibration only works when your health increases? Not when you fall or hit or anything?

i took x360ce_vibmod_3.1.0.0BETA3-CrazyCat.zip and patched my exe (1.00). vibration is set to on and xbox360 controller is recognized by the game. my Saitek P580 vibrates only once then no more. i pressed F9 to reload config but it makes no change. one hit, one vibration. that's it. any ideas?

using vista 32

reload config by F9 not supported in x360ce_vibmod.

what xinput-enabled games work with your gamepad (via x360ce_vibmod) ?
Vibration work in XInputTest.exe ?

vibration works in XInputTest.exe but in no game. controller works in all games as 360 controller. (dirt, grid, assasins)

that ac-xinputenable.zip thingy didn't seem to work for me. i have the steam version of the game (which i believe is updated to v1.02) but when patching it claimed that my files were the incorrect size. i patched anyway, and the new executables didn't work at all. oh well.

i'm using the latest xinput1_3 posted in the main thread on the forum (vibmod)

have patched the executables and such, and the emulator's working just fine, just no vibration.

using virus's latest dll that spoofs a window handle, you enable the FAKE API setting and then configure the PID and VID values to that of your controller.

you must apply patch for Assasin's Creed from http://crazycat69.narod.ru/games/AC-XInputEnable.zip

NOTE: You must use 'unprotected' game-exe (Fixed-EXE NoCD). Original SafeDisk/StarForce exe's not supported !
For version 1.00 use Fixed-EXE from RELOADED - http://m0001.gamecopyworld.com/games/pc_as...]%20Fixed%20EXE
Patches for Ver_1.00_RELOADED - AssassinsCreed_Dx9_100.exe and AssassinsCreed_Dx10_100.exe

For version 1.02 use Fixed-EXE from ViTALiTY - http://m0001.gamecopyworld.com/games/pc_as...Fixed%20EXE%202
Version 1.02 recomended for DX10 users (WinVista, Win7).
Patches for Ver_1.02_ViTALiTY - AssassinsCreed_Dx9_102.exe and AssassinsCreed_Dx10_102.exe

With this patches game support XBOX360 wireless controller. Microsoft drivers for XBOX360 controller must be installed (with native XInput support)

For any DInput controllers (gamepads) use XBOX 360 Controller emulator vibmod 3.1.0.0 BETA3 (by Virus and with some my patches ) from http://crazycat69.narod.ru/games/x360ce_vi...A3-CrazyCat.zip
Based on sources from Viirus. Tested on WinXP 32-bit and WinVista 32-bit. You can use your x360ce.ini config or customize included config for your gamepad (DInput drivers with ForceFeedback must be installed).

P.S. Original XBOX 360 Controller emulator v3.0 files removed from archives (under Vista now work, game hang at startup).

thanks man it worked. now my xbox360 wireless controller is working for assasin's creed with vibration(it occurs only if someone hits u). thanks a lot

Hi everyone:D this is my first post on the forum.
I have a problem with using my ps2 controller via Super Box4 adaptor with Assasins Creed.
My system is windows 7 64 bit.
I have managed to use latest x360 controller emulator with Batman Arkham Asylum (however I had to check the option Fake API calls and set correct VID/PID to make it work).
I can't make it work with AC even when I use the previous versions that you bring up in this thread.
The game identifies the pad as "Twin Usb joystick" just like the windows does.
There is no initial beep.
I would be very grateful for answer. Is it the 64 bit version of windows to blame?
I have the patched 1.02 version of the game with VITALITY's exe.
Please help me.

try my modification x360ce_vibmod_3.1.4.0
set correct VIP-PID in config, enable API faking (FakeAPI=1) and enable logging (Log=1).
Run game, check gamepad support, exit game and provide log from x360ce_logs\*.log

P.S. game patching not need with this x360ce_vibmod. but game have some problems with active window detection on startup. so - provide log.

Crazycat I've used your modification and indeed I had problems with the startup crashing. However, I followed the general forum thread Xbox 360 controller emulator in which the problem with "Window handle: 0" is mentioned. I had the same phrase in my log so as suggested by Virus I have changed the xinput1_3.dll with the one provided by Virus. Now it works!!! Thank you Crazycat! Thank you Virus!
I thought really hard about buying a x360 controller for windows but thanks to you I am still using my favourite ps2 controller.

Maybe you could also help me with the vibrations. As far as drivers for the ps2 controller are concerned I am using the ones provided automically by windows 7.
I guess I need some force feedback driver as well to get the vibrations working... am I right? Do you know where should I look for it?

I really aprreciate your help. I am inserting my log, maybe it would be helpful for someone.
