I am wondering the same thing. I have had great success with this emu but I cant get this, Far Cry 2, or Prince of Persia to work. All are Ubisoft games and I wonder if they do something different in there code. Anyone else.

Check Failsafe=1 in my vibmod 3.1.0.0 beta3 (check my sig for link to virusdev) This fixed POP 2009 and it almost let me get into LOTR Conquest but it didnt help me in Assassins Creed. I havent tried any of the other Xinput names other than _3. Does anyone know which Xinput it uses? Has anyone gotten Assassins Creed to work with Vibration? Thanks ahead of time. |

Yes.It works to me with my Saitek P3200 on XP.Andi have a vibration.I just put the emulator.I cant remember(i dont have game instaled now to check) whether i use dinput8.dllor not just try.Game work with xinput1_3.dll.But in the game controls must be selected xbox pad!!By the dafault is keyboard and mouse even when you put the emulator files in the game folder.

I patch Prince of Persia 2008 ("Prince of Persia.exe") for disable DInput support for gamepads (dinput8.dll from xbox360cemu can't do this). This need to prevent conflict default button mapping for same gamepad (in DInput and XInput mode).
And patch xinput1_3.dll from xbox360cemu for prevent hang game at startup. And now i play on my ThrustMaster DualPower 4 in XInput mode and vibration work. Patch for Prince of Persia.exe, patched xbox360cemu 3.0 (xinput1_3.dll) - http://crazycat69.narod.ru/games/POP2008-NoDINPUT.zip P.S. If vibration not work in game - reload xbox360cemu config by F9 key (some initialization bugs in cemu). |

Assasin's Creed support extra XInput-capabilities (vibration) only for wired XBOX360 controller (VID_045E&PID_028E). But you can't remap default button mapping in XInput-mode.
Another gamepads support limited DInput-mode (including wireless XBOX360 controller). I patch unprotected game exe (AssassinsCreed_Dx9.exe & AssassinsCreed_Dx10.exe ) for enable XInput for any devices supported by xinput1_3.dll (xbox360cemu or system default). Patch available for version 1.00 (*!RELOADED!*) and 1.02 (ViTALiTY). You can use this patch to enable XInput for wireless XBOX360 controller (xbox360cemu not need). Or with xbox360cemu (patched xinput1_3.dll and config for my TM Dual Power 4 included). Edit xbox360cemu config for desired button mapping. http://crazycat69.narod.ru/games/AC-XInputEnable.zip P.S. When you say you patch the .exe does that mean that you overwrite the original .exe with the patched one? At work I cant get to that link you sent so I will have to check that out later. So to get the 3.0.6.8 working all you have to do is extract the Xinput1_3.dll and the .iin file to the game.exe directory without the dinput8.dll? One more question, in POP I have vibration working but only when I am sliding and wall running. When you play with your gamepad do you fill these vibrations as well as jumping and fighting? Are the first vibrations weaker than the other? I only have one strength of vibration. Thanks ahead of time. |

Check Failsafe=1 in my vibmod 3.1.0.0 beta3 (check my sig for link to virusdev) I am trying it again and it is almost working. I am using XP and I have a PS2 controller through a usb connector. I am using this version and now it is beeping when it starts and it didnt do that before so I am getting closer. But if I am not using Dinput8 it is still showing the PS2 controllers and if I use Dinput8 no controllers show up. Does assassins creed save controller information somewhere and can I delete it? Can I try to rename my controller to trick it? If so how? I want to get this working because I love the game and I cant wait for the second one. Hopefully both games can work with my controller. Thanks for all your help. |

I have tried to figure out how to do this but still cant get it to work. I have a ps2 controller and another controller. The ps2 is the one I want to use but it wont let me remap the controller and doesn't have vibration available within the game. I have downloaded your file what do I do with the .crk files? Maybe you could give a step by step process. Thanks. |
